Mohanlal’s much-awaited Malaikottai Vaaliban was finally screened in theaters. But sadly, the low-quality print of the movie was leaked online on the same day of its release. Reports say Filmyzilla, Filmyfly, and DVDplay are the main reasons for the piracy. After hearing the news, the makers filed a formal complaint and tried to remove the piracy sites. But, their efforts ended in vain, as the illegal print was already spread all over the internet.
Mollywood movies are always known for their unique storylines. Malaikottai Vaaliban attracted the audience with its cultural yet simple narrative. Director Shibu Baby John did amazing work on his part. Sonalee Kulkami did an excellent job in this film. I personally enjoyed the movie; it explains a wonderful yet forgotten history. Overall, it is a classic film that you must experience in theatres.

The OTT platform and release date for the Malaikottai Vaaliban movie will be announced soon. It is touted that Dinsey+ Hotstar might acquire the streaming rights. It may take about a month for the film to stream online.
