Amaran is a war thriller movie directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The film is being produced by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan‘s Raajkamal Films International in association with the Sony Pictures International productions banner. Sivakarthikeyan of Namma Veettu Pillai fame portrayed the lead role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, and Sai Pallavi played the leading lady.
It is a biopic of the late Major Mukund, who lost his life during an anti-terrorist operation in South Kashmir. He was awarded Ashoka Chakra for his braveness during his operation. As per sources, SK might die in the movie as he portrays Major Mukund.
